RDG CAREERS, RDG GROUP INTERNATIONAL Baxter Developments - Real Estate and Business Management Consulting RDG Careers E-mail and Spear Phishing Scam Toronto, Ontario
If you receive an e-mail from William at BaxterDevelopments.ca asking for your resume, be warned, it is a likely scam. After giving William an updated resume, you will receive a call from RDG Careers trying to schedule an interview for career search help. I asked several times how RDG Careers is compensated, and was told that the first visit was free but subsequent appointments may not be.
The e-mail from William is as follows:
I have recently noticed your online resume. Your background does not match our current needs, however I would like to direct it to one of our affiliate career search firms. They are based out of Toronto and specialize in assisting experienced professionals like yourself. If you wish, please reply to [email protected] and attach a recent version of your resume.

I received an email from Nelson Webber at Webber Services asking for my resume to be forwarded to his local affiliate. After forwarding my resume, a couple of days later I received a call from Diana at RDG Careers in Toronto. The phone number she gave me corresponds the the number on the RDG Careers website.
After reading all of the scam reports I am going to avoid RDG and all of the potential heartache that other have suffered. Thanks for your reports.
