REA Reportage CON! CON: Fake ARMANI con men Green Point Brooklyn New York
Same story... two "italian guys" in a rental car on their way back to the airport from fashion week ask for directions... seem nice enough.. I'm going to the grocery store... then one last question... "we have these left over Armani coats..." uhh ohh...
the same scam... I have loads of money... same language... they all went to the same class...
I am kinda broke and no one is talking me out of my money... well they did... they just don't stop talking and their story is decent and they want to "give" you a deal... wish I googled the Reportage before i left their car. and saw these... I would love to have clammed them up.
3 jackets for 500 bucks the whole scam same as above... (helped me a little to realize i was not the only one taken here)... they use the time factor like we have to get to the airport we will be late... they get you in the car try on the coat... language was "i want to give you these coats"... then became "i will sell you one then give you two"... i had trouble leaving them they would not shut up... it was dark and i could not see too good... seemed like they were saying it was Armani they were seling me.... the $1000 in stores line... lamb skin... we can go to the ATM....
i gave him a hard earned hundred bucks and walked off with a crappy leather jacket that I don't wanna wear cuz it will forever remind me of the day i got scammed... as soon s i saw the buttons in the light i thought... woops.
