I went to Red McCombs Toyota in August 2002 to look at vehicles. My boyfriend was going to help me get a vehicle because I have credit problems.

We spoke to a sales rep. His name was Victor Quintones. We had found a vehicle that we liked and we started to do the paperwork on it, I was trading in a vehicle plus putting $1000 down. I was employed but my boyfriend was not but he had to sign because of my credit.

Well the sales man instructed my boyfriend to lie on the application saying he was employed. I was waiting for an insurance check to put the money down and the Finance guy Danny Gold told us just to leave a check for the money down and they would not cash it until we called. Well needless to say we got our vehicle that day. Two days later we recieved a letter from our bank saying that a check for $1000 dollars was sent to our bank. Two days later we recieved another one.

Then we got a call FROM the sales rep saying that if they do not recieve the money down that they want the car back. By then I was so angry I told them I will be up there in 30 minutes to bring it back and I wanted my car that i traded in back. Well then the tune changed, I could take all of the time i needed, because they sold my car already. Well we got the insurance check gave them their money down.

All this time my licence sticker was expired and they told us it would be mailed to them and they would call us, they kept giving us the dealer tags every two weeks. meaning i had to drive up there 45 miles from my home every two weeks for three months.

Finally I spoke to the receptionist and she told me that i had to pay for it myself because it wasnt included in my purchase. but i looked at my paperwork and it was included, so i called up there and she told us the sales rep told her it was not included and that she was sorry and she ordered it and we got our sticker in a week after waiting for three months.

In my opinion most everyone at this facility is after money not customer satisfaction. I would not buy a glass of water from them if i was in hell.
