Do NOT use Reliable credit unless you are willing to be harassed, abused, lied to, ripped off, yelled at, and lied to some more. I financed my car with Reliable credit they have put forced insurance on my car even though I had Insurance, they told me is was not the right coverage and I needed to provide them with proof, I went into the office and Jorellie called my agent and he faxed it to her (per my contract the purchaser must carry full coverage insurance on the the make, model, and vin#) DONE they put forced insurance on my car.I was making regular payments on time every month(never missed a payment) I was at work and kept getting phone calls from this Jorellie person and she kept saying she was a friend of mine, I've never heard of her so I never called her back? In December of that year I had actually made a double payment. So sitting at work clear out in Happy Valley far from a bus, or even a way to a bus, a tow truck rips in our parking area about 40mps in a 5mph posted area hooks up my car to a tow truck. When I called Reliable Credit they said they could not talk to me about the car until they had it. I had no choice. They took the car and Reliable told me that I had to bring them $2,500.00 to get my car back I freaked out. The next day I had my Mother pick me up and I took a cashiers check to them. I gave the check to Morgan he then said he needed to verify the funds? I asked my Mom "how do you verify funds on cash" ? he was gone for a while when he got back to the desk I asked where my car was, he told me to loose my attitude or I was not going to get my car back, when I was done there I had to go clear out to Troutdale my car was already at the auction. Then Reliable Credit did this to me again in Feb 2010. I paid, they called off the repo dogs, and now a year later they are doing it again, this time they are claiming that I have to pay repo fees and they are going to charge me a additional $1,900.00 in collection fees and repo fees, I told them they would have to have me served first. they have a check but wont cash it because they want cash??? I would love to get a class action suit against them., They have lied to my friends and family, they have claimed to be verifying credit apps, they are UPS and have a package, that they are from an Insurance co. and have refund check I need to sign for. Im so sick of them. I almost dont want the car, but I have paid so many thousands of dollars I cant let them get away with this.

I had the same thing happen to me. Seems like  $2500 and less is their target range, when they see they can steal your car and make a profit. I too got my car back. They went as far to say if they damaged my vehicle I still had to release them from liability and when I refused to release them from liability they refused to release my PAID OFF car to me. Instead they reported me to the police for being a terrorist, but waited two days to do that because they were scared. I am going after them for damages. They started out very nice, but got mean QUICK, I even had a call center rep by the name of JUSTIN R. TANK tell me on the phone I was stupid. I filed a BBB complaint and when the harrassment did not stop I continued to file, and now it appears the OR attorney general may be getting involved. Give me a day or so and I will get all the addresses available, maybe if enough of us stand up to this criminal company, they will be put out of business forever!

They told me the same thing. I have to have $2500 to get my car back yet they have my money order that was mailed last week. They said there are no other option and then my remiaining balance will be about $1000....funny how I will have that much left when I only financed 3000, 3 years ago. At $200/mo. Sounds like something fishy is going on. I would love a class action suit
