From what I could gather from your very confusing post, you spent around $ 1,035.00 to rent-a-center in less than a month. For that amount of money, you could have purchased the sterio outright at a store for alot less than the $638.00 that they were selling it for. I suggest you save your Washingtons and Lincolns and Jacksons under your mattress and buy the stuff you need in full, not rent. Your creating hassles for your self and a debt load that eventually you will not be able to afford. You should have gotten receipts from them showing the payments and the dates the payments covered and what items they covered. Your daughter should also have taken the check back from them the day she made the payment with your credit card. So, now your short money and stuck paying interest on a credit card that you will not pay off in the next 50 years at the current interest rates that most credit cards charge and at the minimum payment rates. Not only does rent-a-center charge for items up to 50% more (depending on the item) than what they are worth at a store by the time that you pay all the installments, you put it on a credit card?? WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?? I have a feeling that you have no economic senses and would benefit from a few courses at your local community college in home ecomomics and math refreshers.
