I went to Rentwave to get a listing of apartments that accept pets and that was in a particular price range. I found a long list of properties when I used their guest search. I then paid for the service so I can see the contact information of each of these properties.
When I did the same search again, after becoming a member, I did not see any contact information or address for most of the same listings. The listings that did have contact information did not have accurate descriptions. The rent was higher than posted on their site or they did not accept pets.
I called Rentwave to inquire about the issues but they put me on hold and never got back to me. Every time I called, customer service is never available. They say on their site that they are open 7 days a week from 8:30am to 8:30pm but every time a call I am always told to call back or to call the next day. I have left my number twice for someone to call me back but I have not heard from anyone as of yet.
I have also sent an email inquiring about a refund but I still have not seen a response. I signed up on Sunday 6/27/2004 and I have been trying to reach them since that Sunday.
