Reportage Armani Rip Off. Cheap. Sydney Australia
I got scammed today on the Northern Beaches in Sydney Australia. I was out the front of my house doing some gardening and this guy pulls up in a red rental car. He asked if I had a minute and I agreed.
I went over and talked to him, he was quite worried that I still had my chainsaw in my hand (wish I had of used it as more of a scare tactic now!). He gave me a similar spiel to everyone else. "Back from a Convention in Chatswood (to which I wondered why he was in my area as it was away from the airport), had to sell his stuff before he left for the airport. Good quality etc etc."
He showed me his passport and everything. I started to wonder what was going on, as with everyone else I dont even wear leather jackets, I'm a Uni student I was just looking to make a quick buck. The dollar signs were going in my head when he said worth $1500, worth $1500.
So I got some cash together with my brother thinking this could be a short term investment to sell them. We paid $AUS 500 for 8 jackets. So we were thinking quick $300 profit each at least on these. Until he drove off and I Googled "Repetage" and found this website. I was absolutely kicking myself, but my brother has assured me that we could still knock them off. We'll see...

2 October, 2006 I purchased 6 Italian made Jackets for $200.00 US here in California. The Italian Man had a very nice Suit on and was very profesional. He was a guest of one of our areas best Lodge. (Pebble Beach) The Guy told me he was here on business and was also here during the Italian Fest which was in Monterey California. I am not sure about this Product or Brand, but must say that the Quality appears to be very well made and the Jackets look great. The same Guy said he also represents Companies like Nino Cerrutti etc. I know there was some sort of Clothing event in Reno and our area but not sure of this deal... I feel very very stupid for doing business in this way but thought of the profit I could make. Seeing the all mighty dollar sign....Yeah right. Anyway I have also read numerous things of this brand and don't know what to think. Some people say that Yes there is indeed a brand called Protage and some people say its a fake. None the less. The Jackets if I can't sell them will surely make beautiful gifts.... But never again will I do anytype of transaction like this...
