Reservationrewards ripoff, dishonest and false advertising, scam, fraudulent billing Internet Internet
I replied to an email that said I could receive a $75 gift certificate of my choice by filling out a survey.
Once I did the survey, and I made a small purchase, they said I did not qualify for the gift certificate because I was already a member of their "services".
I called them and they said that I had joined Reservation Rewards last December and that they had billed me in January and February but that March payment had not been made. I had changed credit cards so that is why they probably were not able to bill me in March. I looked at previous statements from my credit card and realized they indeed had charged me and I never saw it or authorized it.
I caught them in a double wham! They charged me without authorization and then refused to give me a gift certificate that I was told I could have.
I did complain to them today and they are going to have a "supervisor" call me tomorrow. I will follow up on this and will ask for my money back. This is a scam and should be stopped from enticing others for their money!
