We were renting from a man as of February 1st 2010. We paid our rent every month on time. we had the same landlord up until june of 2014. When this new person called him to verify that we paid on time everything was fine. He rented to us the 4th of June 2014. Then for some reason he called our old landlord back and yelled at him called him a liar etc. He took most of the money we had and we agreed to pay the rest on June 26th. Less then a week later he told us to get out because we had no car and we would be unable to get any where to pay our rent. The last week of May we were told the owners were coming back and were going to live there so we had to get out. I then had a heartattack was in a coma for several days when I finally was on my way home we had one day to vacate. when the new landlord told us to get out my husband told them i couldnt walk anywhere and they said that wasnt their problem and still wanted us out. We had also been told that we werent allowed to lock the gate surrounding the yard because his workman needed to get into the yard when ever they needed to didnt matter if our dog got out etc.
Then that night someone got into our yard and stole our trailor and everything on it. The police refused to make a report so now we had nothing and no where to go. They just kept saying not their problem. We were there no longer then 3 weeks but my husband had gone for a walk and saw an ad for a one bedrm one bath apt. He brought the ad home we called it they brought us an application we paid 50.00 for credit check which was refunded when herented to us. We moved in on July 1st of 2014 and we are still here after 3 years and every month we have paid on time He even shut off the rest of the water so they came by daily to come in and check the bathroom to see if it was clean and also the kitchen of course they were because my husbann would walk to circle K and get a 5 gallon bottle of water which wasnt easy. He is 63 and I am 70 they just got meaner every day so even though we moved out the 26th of June and offered them the balance of the moas we promised they refused it. The landlords have no fear of the judges in Az they know it will go their way but something has to be done how can they treat us so badly?
