glad to hear you are following your rights and going thru the proper legal channels. Keep a level head . Your documentation and proper receipts for the damages will be looked upon well in the court system. Sorry that they damaged your property.

Yes, they were legally evicted. But, they failed to return the keys and tried to block the eviction by claiming harassment. They wouldn't move or return the keys, so I had to call several times to get updates on their proposed move out date. Mrs. Edwards called the sheriff's dept to claim harassment. They were probably looking for cash for keys and got miffed when I wouldn't comply. Anyway, they are finally gone and I have filed for damages for rent and court costs. Hurray!

They were legally evicted? Strange as that is how its supposed to be. There is no such thing as an illegal eviction silly one ,unless your the tenant and the LANDLORD locks you out and burns the place down.. Did you file in court for past dues and damages? If not then please get on it.
Best to you in the future on the rentals. Its wonderful to have someone else pay the mortgage and you get the benefits.
