RJM Acquisitions Fund For Fingerhut RIPOFFS, WIFES ACCOUNT LISTED IN MY CREDIT REPORT, WON'T REPLACE JUNK THEY SENT Syosset, New York
We are trying to Re-Finance our home. My credit report has a bad report because of Fingerhut and RJM Acquisitions. My wife sent for a double cassette player, which was delivered to an old address, where we hadn't live for some time, left out on the porch, in the rain.
After they told her where it was delivered to, we went and saw that it was still sitting on the porch, 3 days later. From the time we first plugged it in, it wasn't working right. She tried to get them to exchange it but they would never reply to her. Then a picnic table she bought from them, broke, after a month, and they wouldn't reply to request to exchange that either.
Those aren't the only two things that ended up being junk, from them. My wife decided not to pay them until they offered to exchange the items never happened. All we got from them were warning phone calls of collection.
Then, they put it on MY credit report, instead of hers. I would guess, because she wasn't working anymore, so they wouldn't be able to get anything from her. I had NEVER signed anything with them, NEVER ordered anything from them.
My wife explained this to RJM Acquisitions, and other collection agencies they had bothering us. They just ignore her. They even offered me a credit card and would put the fingerhut bill on it, to pay it off. No way! It's not mine and I'm not paying for the junk.
