I responded to an add in the Daily Oklahoman that was requesting envelope stuffers from home to earn up to $1400/week. I left them my name and address and they sent me some flyers describing their "100% legitimate and honest offer," which I then sent them $25 to "get started."

I made a copy of my money order, which is all they would accept and sent off for my first round of envelopes. Of course, I haven't heard from them since, but it was interesting to see that the company included pictures of the 2 individuals involved.

Who should I contact in Oklahoma to report this company? I knew I was taking a chance, but it would be nice to prevent this from happening to others.

The John Craig & Robert Hancock Pyramid Scheme is nationwide. Oklahoma is one of the active areas, and because on your end, the alleged fraud took place in Oklahoma, contact that Post Master (OklahomaCity). The 212-615-6424 is just a hired answering service. This one phone number is about the only common link, next to John Craig, Robert Hancock and now Louise Bond. There are no physical addresses for these people. Law enforcement would have the ability to get billing account information from that answering service to locate these Rip-off's. Your Post Master should set you in the right direction, for another option here is the postal inspector site again: www.usps.com. If you have the patience, this site has more information through Keywords: John Craig, Robert Hancock, Home Stuffers, United Homeworkers or you can search by category: Home Based Businesses, Employment Services, Mail Order Services or Corrupt Companies. Some States even require you to attain a liscense for home based businesses. I have been trying to locate them through these records of whatever is legally available to the public. It is IMPORTANT that you contact your post master, if nothing else, so that you remain innocent. You don't want them to think you are in on it. If the post master has a record of your inquiry, this will help you not to be held liable. Some have made claims, that they got refunds, what is more important is to keep your records and cut any ties you might have with them. I've filed several reports already. You can find more numbers there. Hope this helps.

i too responded to the news paper insert, and never recieved my shipment of envelopes, after i sent them my 25.00 money order I cannot remember the city that it was sent to i know the state was MNwith the telephone number being 1-212-615-6424, and this number is only a hotline you cannot speak to anyone about the problem. what really made me believe it was for real was the employment contract/guaranteed weekly wage & bonus agreement that was signed by robert hancock the president of the company so please check out this repot before you send this rip-off company any money

Just like Amber, I had responded to the Daily Oklahoman ad and received the same letter with the two pictures of Robert Hancock and John Craig. But before I returned my application and money order I did some research and found this web site and glad that I did. The address I received on my application was different from Ambers, it request that I send my money order and 2 #10 blank envelopes and 2 loose first class stamps to the following address. S.Roberts P.O. Box 17453 Oklahoma City, Ok. 73136 I am not sure and correct me if I am wrong but isn't this mail fraud since they are using the U.S. Postal Service? Needless to say anything this easy has to be a scam.
