I read your comments with interest. First I am confused at how if you had the van less than or within a week did you not notice these issues when you test drove it. I am sure there was some indication that there was a problem. After all cars just don't start up and automatically have issues. Second, any used car you take for a used car preinspection prior to paper signing, I sure won't buy a car unless I know what is wrong, what is going wrong, and what might have happened/history wise. The heater issue didn't you try these things?? What type of preinspection did you do? did you even take it for a drive? Try calling another dealership to inquire about the recall issue or you can go to the NHTSA website and look it up. While I am very greatful for your husbands service, I can't turn my back from you trying to blame someone else for something that you did/didn't do. Perhaps I am not getting the full details? I wish there was an avenue so that we could talk about this personally and see if you have any possible recourse. Perhaps you could place a listing on Craig's and exchange information that way. However, if you chose not to do that I understand. I would just like to help. Take care and tell your husband thanks! JP
