Robert Thorne and Greg Redlitz were sued in California state court after I was verbally abused and fired for being forced to work long hours without receiving overtime pay.

Robert Thorne and his self proclaimed “celebrity licensing and branding company” forced me to work until I was mentally and physically exhausted — When I complained to Robert Thonre and Greg Redlitz they fired me.

“The impetus for her unlawful termination was her refusal to further comply with the defendants' demands to continue an unlawful and oppressive work schedule — in callous indifference and in violation of other California labor codes, specifically the distressing verbal harassment, physical working conditions of moving heavy equipment unassisted, and the extremely dangerous levels of sleep deprivation and ignoring their overtime pay obligations”.

Thorne is the founder and former CEO of Dualstar Entertainment, the company that managed merchandising and other business aspects related to the careers of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. Thorne led the company from 1990 to 2005. Robert Thorne's and Greg Redlitz minority stake in Dual Star was bought out by the Olsen's when they turned eighteen, sighting Thonre and Redlitz awefully mismanged thier careers since they were twelve years old.

Of the 353.25 hours  worked in her last three weeks of employment, 280 were uncompensated overtime, part of “a verbally abusive and inhumane near-round-the-clock work schedule.

By retaliating for her complaints, Robert Thorne and Greg Redlitz violated California labor code provisions related to both wrongful termination and retaliation, according to the complaint.

Furthermore, Thorne has made false statements concerning my character and job performance so as to prevent me from getting another job in the industry.

Firing me and adverse treatment has led to my continued emotional distress, including depression and anxiety.

“As a result of my unlawful termination of my employment in

violation of fundamental public policy, I suffer and continue to

suffer humiliation, emotional distress and mental pain and anguish, all to my damage in a sum according to proof.”
