Robert's Towing Bluegrass Towing Unethical and Taking Advantage of Consumer Lexington KY
My wife had to leave her car in the parking lot behind the Fazoli's on Nicholasville Road, as her car has been having trouble starting at times of late. These bottom-feeders apparently swung through there around 1am, before we could get a friend over to the car to have a look at it.
When we went down to the bowels of Lexington to pick up her car, we were met by two smug characters behind a prison-style bulletproof glass window. You could tell they were dealing all-shift long with pissed-off people coming down to get their cars who've been ripped off.
Add to this that my wife's car had some scratches on it that we didn't believe were there previously. We mentioned it to them before we moved the car and they said they had before and after pictures, which I'm sure that have their henchmen take to cover their asses. I told them that was fine and I'd like to see the pictures to be sure.
They wouldn't let me see the pictures. I can only think from this suspicious behavior that the pictures in some way implicated them in poor service and carelessness.
After playing phone-tag with Clarence, the ringleader, for the next four days, we finally connected. He was uncaring of the situation, unyielding in remedying their unethical behavior, and undoubtedly well-practiced in slithering out of these situations.
Clarence seemed miffed when I told him I would be posting reviews of our disgusting experience. I told him that while the unwary towees in Lexington couldn't help having their vehicles schlepped down to this craphouse, there are those people who would call them randomly for the breakdown-tow or roadside assistance. For those innocent people in need, it would be unconscionable for me to not inform the public of their ridiculous and primitive behavior.
I suggest calling another tow company, if you are in need, for better service, so you can get the help you need from people who have at least an iota of ethical standards.
