This individual was 'kind' enough to come to my house and provide me with a very 'generous' estimate to lay some concrete in my backyard. He was even eager enough to begin the work (i.e. snapping chalk lines and shoveling some dirt). He was SO eager he asked for some money to run up to the hardware store so he could pick up supplies.
I handed him $650 cash and in turn he wrote out a reciept that states in full "I Craig S. Robinson pulled a deposit in the amount of $650.00 from Carrie (My wife) at (My address). Dated 5/13/04."
After he was handed the money, he said he'll be back in an hour or so. Were now going on 2 months and he still hasnt returned! Numerous calls were made to him...phone number has changed and his ad no longer appears in the local newspaper. I called the Hemet Police Dept and provided them with his name, address and license plate number.
What did they tell me? It's a civil matter and I would need to sue him. They couldnt do a thing for me. Excuse me? A little rediculous I think...This guy STOLE $650 from me and the PD won't do a thing! It's no wonder so many people choose to take the law into their own hands.

In review of the Riverside, CA Municipal Court webpage, I found not only this scam artist's address but also found that he is currently being sued in small claims court by another individual local to myself. The scam artist's address is: 6851 Marguerita Ave., Riverside, CA 92506. His full name is CRAIG SHELDON ROBINSON and described as having BROWN HAIR, BLUE EYES 5'11" AND 200LBS. ....STAY AWAY FROM THIS PERSON!!!...HE WILL ROB YOU BLIND....
