Roma Computer Solutions/ Leasecomm deceptive fake ripoff business liars victimized us Oxnard California
At a seminar at a local hotel in July of 2000, we were presented with a sales pitch from Roma Computer Solutions selling their internet sales business (www.use-store.com) and resellable CD's as well as getting you a merchant account with Cardservices, Intl. (extra charge).
With this pitch, they told you that you got a new touchscreen computer (Sharp PV-6000) in the deal. You were supposed to be able to re-sell the 10 disks that they gave you for a price of 299.00. That was a scam in itself. What the real scam was is this: To get the computer you had to go to another seminar to learn about the program and the computer.
They had you sign a lease for the amount of 79.95 for 39 months (NON-CANCELLABLE LEASE). Roma then in-turn sold your lease to LeaseComm and what they NEVER told you was that you were to still buy it after the lease at fair market value or they would put you in default on your credit. So this whole time I was making the draft and now they want 268.00 plus tax (You can find a new one for 200.00 on the net) or they "will ruin your credit on purpose" according to Jen at LeaseComm when asked about it.
If someone can please help on this, please let me know. This had to have happened to someone else!!!
