Norma Goldberger from Canton, Ohio wrote the original report. Norma sent her daughter to Ron's house to look at the puppy, to see if it would be one that they would purchase. Norma sent Ron a downpayment for the papillon puppy after her daughter looked at the puppy and liked it and the puppy's mother. I did not hide the sire as Norma stated. Her daughter never asked to see him. After Norma payed for the puppy and took it home, she tried to sue me in small claims court. I sold Norma the puppy for $400. It was one of the cheapest Pappillon puppy listed on Puppyfind.com. Show quality papillon puppies were selling for $1000 to $1500 at this time. I listed the puppy as a pet quality puppy and not a show quality puppy. She tried to sue me for $2999.99. She itemized the damages as the cost of the puppy, the cost of having the puppy spayed, heart worm medication for the life of the puppy, damage to a camera that the puppy damaged, injury to her other dog that the puppy injured while Norma and her husband were leading them and a larger collar and stronger lead that the puppy out grew. This was the most ridiculous lawsuit that I have ever heard of. She bought a puppy for $400 and wanted to sue me for $2999.99. I never hired a lawyer when we went to court. I did not think that I would need one to beat this. The court sent her home empty handed.

Norma Goldberger's daughter came to our house to look at the puppies. She saw the puppies and their mother. See did not ask to see their father. After her daughter saw and aproved of the puppy and it's mother, Norma sent me a down payment to hold the puppy until it was old enough to go to it's new home. Norma wanted me to take the puppy back and give her a full refund after she had the puppy for a while. She took me to small claims court. I sold her the puppy for $400. Show quality Papillons were going for $1000 to $1500 at this time. I listed the puppy as a pet quality puppy not a show quality one. She told the court that the itemized damages was $1020.62. She also said total damages with punitive damages was $2999.99. The itemized costs included the cost of the puppy, the cost of having the puppy spayed, the additional cost of heart worm medication for the life of the puppy because it got bigger than she expected, damage to a camera that the puppy knocked down off a counter top while at her house, injury to her other dog that the puppy did while Norma and her husband were leading them, the cost of a new collar and lead because the puppy out grew them and punitive damages.
This is the most ridiculous charges that I have ever heard of. She bought a puppy for $400 and wants $2999.99. A lot of the costs were because she could not control a little puppy. I did sell her an insurance policy with the puppy. I think that Norma is the kind of person that likes to make a quick and easy buck. I did not get or need a lawyer to win this in court. The court sent her home empty handed.

We took Ron and Beth Bulach to small claims court. We are waiting for the decision. Katie is the daughter who every once in a while appears as the seller of puppies. Ron Bulach seemed particularly offended that I didn't mention the wife's name Beth and instead mentioned the daughter's name Katie in this ripoff report. We had no dealings with Beth or Katie. The only reason Beth was included is that she signed the deposit check. I apologize for including the name "Katie". Ron Bulach the breeder claimed Pixie, our puppy, was a 'pet' quality Papillon even though she meets not one standard of the breed except for a black nose. We found out that the sire had lineage from CKC numbered NN-0000000 and likewise for the dam. We are guessing that means the parents had no proven lineage but we don't know and at this point it is irrelevant. We learned our lesson. Always buy AKC registered dogs not Continental Kennel Club. Always check out the sire and the dam before buying. Don't trust anyone's words. Will update this report further when we hear the court's decision.
