This is a WARNING to NEVER USE Cencom Monitoring Services to try to save some money on your alarm monitoring.  In 2013 I got new windows installed in my home that forced me to remove my current (old) alarm system.  

I called Cencom (Alarm Monitoring Services) and just getting a hold of a representative was a chore.  Usually the phone numbe would just ring any no one would answer and there was no voice mail to leave a message.  After serveral calls over several days I finally got a young lady who took my call and was able to get my message to cancel my service.

After a month or so I noticed that they had NEVER CANCELLED MY SERVICE. I called them and spoke directly with the owner, Ronald Cats.  Ron was TOTALLY OBNOXIOUS and basically told me that I needed to send him CERTIFIED MAIL to cancel my service and until I sent him this CERTIFIED MAIL that I would still be on their plan and he would still be billing me monthly for service, even though I had no alarm system TO SERVICE.

At that point he wanted me to pay him @ $60.00 for a two months cancellation payment.  I told him that I would not pay him and that I would report his company to the Better Business Bureau (and I did).  

Since then he ran the bill up to $574.00 for late fees and turned my account over to his lawyer for collection.  His lawyer, Frank Hawk, then tried to strong arm me for money.  Frank Hawk was a coward and would not speak to me on the phone, but he did send insulting emails to me claiming that I was 'using Cencom' for free alarm services, although I DID NOT EVEN OWN AN ALARM and he knew this.  

In my entire life, Ronald Cats and Frank Hawk have been the two BIGGEST IDIOTS I have ever run into.  They were both rude and obnoxious while I tried to be polite and logical.  

I have EXCELLENT credit but now they have turned this account over to a collection agency named FIDELITYINFORMATION CORP and they are now claiming I owe them $798.00 for this cancelled service that they never cancelled.

I will work with the credit agencies to get this off of my record, but please be warned that this company THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH IN MY ENTIRE LIFE.  They make Comcast look like angels.
