About two weeks ago I also was forced in to renting a van from these thieves. The van was an absolute piece of junk. On our trip to San Diego, the van failed to start in the Saban's parking lot...three times. About thirty miles later the van started to act like the transmission was going to fall out. Every fifteen minutes for an interval of twenty minutes the van would rev up in third gear and not shift into overdrive. It was like driving a manuel transmission vehicle and not being able to use a clutch...THE ENTIRE TRIP. A 6 hour trip to San Diego turned into 10 hours. After calling the "emergency" line, no one responded. Now I'm stuck between harrassing phone calls because I was overcharged 200 dollars. A phone quote price of 379 dollars, turned into 579 upon return, and that turned into 750 after checking my bank account statement. These people are absolute crooks and will take advantage of you. The place is a slum also, adorned with a lone autographed picture of John Rocker hanging next to the front desk. That should have been enough to get me the hell out, but I trusted these people, and I DEEPLY regret it now. Is there anything that can be done to bring these crooks to justice?
