Stay away!  First let me say Sales was great!  The Sales staff could not have done a better job.  They were friendly, professional, not pushy and actually listened to the customer. 

However, where it counts...SERVICE...is the worst I have ever experienced.  I have been buying and driving cars for the past 33 years and I have never experienced such incompetence, lack of quality control, and lack of customer service! 

HERE IS WHAT HAPPENED:  I took my car in, a 2012 model, for a warranty covered repair to the defrost.  After 3 days, I asked for a loaner, which they provided.  I got the car back a week later.  Now it made a hissing sound.  A new part they installed didn't have the O ring in position and caused a leak.  Took it back and they fixed it but when I got it back, the air bag light was now on and the steering rubbed!  Took it back AGAIN and had to argue this time to get a loaner.  They said it was not on "my plan" which I agree, but guys...YOU BROKE MY CAR!  So, I get the car back and guess what??? My auto starter no longer works.The receiver, which was attached to the windshield was just laying on the dash... and oh yes, the hissing sound is back! 

Maybe it's because I'm retired military but I kind of believe #1, there should be quality control to check things out...and #2, Customer Service is key.  Don't tell me a loaner is not on my plan (in other words, I didn't pay for a loaner in case you guys caused more problems while supposedly fixing it).  You caused the problem, you need to "make things right."  Well, my experience has been so bad that I am going to trade in the 2012 for another brand vehicle, just so I don't have to deal with the Service department anymore. 

We have a Dodge truck, a Jeep, and my car.  So much for being a Dodge/Chrysler brand family anymore.  We won't be shopping at Safford anymore, and I will make sure I tell all my friends, family, and coworkers to stay far away, as well. 

UPDATE:  I am now the proud owner of another make vehicle and got rid of my Chrysler 200.  Sad thing, I loved that car.  If it weren't for the incompetent service department, I would have bought my next car there, too.  Why?  We were a Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep family.  Now we are a Dodge/Jeep/foreign car family.  The new dealership's Service Department is leaps and bounds ahead in quality and professionalism over Safford's poor excuse for service.  Thanks Safford Service Department...for absolutely nothing!  And through the wonder of social media, I hope to make sure others don't have the same poor experience my wife and I had to suffer.
