San Francisco RV Resort ripoff fraudulent charges and cancellation policy Ripoff Pacifica California
When I made the reservation for my RV for 3 nights, starting Thurday, June 16th, the lady on the phone told me, that I would have to pay a $35,-- reservation fee and that in case of cancellation 24 hrs before my arrival date I would get a refund except for a charge of $10,--.
Because the hydraulics on my RV are not working it is impoossible for me to drive on the roads. So I called at 1:30 PM on June 16th to cancel my reservation. A man named Gary had answered the phone and told me he would havo to charge me the full amount ( 3 days at $60,-- per day = $180,-- plus 10% hotel tax.) I told him that I couldn't come and asked what happend if peoples RV's broke down, if they would still charge them. I told him I didn't like that , because last time we stayed there in December 2004, they had charged us $38,-- for the reservation, $334,60 for one week stay and another $52,-- because I checked out shortly after 12PM. I told him I considered suing the park and he said because of my attitude he would charge me the full amount and hung up on me.
