In Feb 2009, my husband and I were in the process of trying to negotiate a modiication with our mortgage co Bank of America, In June 2009 we were contacted by Mark Driscolle, who worked forf Sanford Consultants, who stated that their company Sanford Consulting could be the negotiator for (us) the homeowner and negotiate a modification on our behalf. The price would be $1,900.00. I explained that $1900.00 was a lot of money and that we didn't have that kind money to give away. I also stated that, BOA said if we were approved, we may need to put money down on whatever kind of modification we got. Mr Driscolle stated that it was a money back gaurentee, That if they, Sanford Consultants could not negotiate a modification, we would get a refund of our $1,900.00. On June 23,2009 we sent Sandfodr Consultants an acceptence package, which included our financials, a copy of our license and a harship letter.
My case was then assigned to Andrew Cappello of Mortgage Mitigators in florida. Most of my contact with Mr Cappello for the next 2 months was mimimal, would call for the status on my modification and he would reply by email that the status had not changed. HE WAS SCAMINIG ME ALL ALONG. He was not speaking with the negotiators that had been assigned to my case by the bank. He was call ing the 800 number speaking with the reps., who were so warn out from thousands of customers calling, their stories changed everyday, so there was no accuracy on the banks part either.
In march of 2010, I finally heard from my negotiator in the form of a letter telling me that we were not approved for modification. I called to ask why, they said my income was too low, I asked the negotiator if she had ever spoken with an Andrew Capella, she had never heard of him and had not records of him ever trying to contact her. so that confirms that: ME AND MY HUSBAND WERE PREYED UPON BECAUSE WERE WERE AFRAID THAT WE WOULD LOOSE OUR HOME AND THOUGHT WE WERE PUTTING OUR $1900 IN TH HANDS OF PROFESSIONALS TRAINED TO DO THIS JOB........I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!!!!

@009 Sanford Consultuting, they were very upfront with me, said they had a low score with the BBB.
the woman that I spoke with was very honest about everything. I sent my money, Was notified
a company called Mortgage Mitigators in Florida was taking my case , I was called on a regular basis
and I called also. The person that did the negotiations with my mortg co. was Andrew Cappello
I was the luckiest person on the face of the earth. he rolled up his sleeves and fought tooth and nail for me. The man didn't sleep. I am still living in my house((( Thanks to this man. ))when he would call I listened he had me fax everything but the kitchen sink. Was able to get a fixed interest rate and lowered my house payment several hundred dollars. Thumbs up to Sanford Consul. for having a Dynamite Co. and Andrew Cappello, I only know you as a very determined, educated and very much a friend, any company or person in need in the United States would benefit grately having you on their side. Thanks again and again.
