Sat & Act Prep, Inc. This company is a scam. On My Credit Card Statement The Location Is Cooper, TX, But I Have Since Found A Street Address in Cedar Hill Texas
I was contacted in early December by this company, and I mistakenly thought it was a school sponsored company because I had requested my son be registered in an ACT, SAT prep course. Unfortunately I realized too late I had signed up with a company that did not give me anything in return.
I have not received a confirmation either by mail, or by e-mail and have not received a class registration, or a website address that we could go to, (they did say for $49.95 a month I'd have access to a website to check for scholarships, and I have since been charged twice in the month of January, and I still can't find them on the internet!).
I wanted to call and cancel this service and I couldn't find an address or anything until today when I found this Ripoff site. My bank has told me I need to cancel my credit card in order to stop these charges...I only hope that won't be necessary.
So far, I have been charged $219.95 for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I would love to find out how to cancel this, and if possible obtain a refund. I'm just happy I have found an address right now!
