To the individual who posted the last comment. I know who you are and I appreaciate your imput and opinion.Everyone has one.But as my cases enter in to Federal Court where they belong a lot of people will be very surprised and shocked what will be reveled. The article was written by a reporter who only had one side of the storey and as directed by my attorneys I am not to disclose any information until we go to court. But I will say this much, whomever the reporter had been talking to about all of the information has opened their side up for litagation.I think that it is pretty bad when certain attorneys have to invent or grey up the truth in order to make their cases look better. I am not afraid to sign my name to this, why don't you sign your name as well next time. Thank you, Regina Preetorius

Regina, Regina, Regina...I'm so sorry you're going through this because I hate to see anyone in a bad situation, but it appears you're not telling the entire story. There's definitely more to this story and it involves many other people who are now in an even worse situation. See this article in OUR local paper. You see, it's difficult to completely empathize with your current situation after reading this. For those of you who are not registered with the newspaper site below, rest assured that it is safe to register and at worst you'll only receive about ten emails a year from some of their sponsors. http://chronicle.augusta.com/stories/081708/met_469804.shtml

Regina, I read your Ripoff report this afternoon and would like to let you know that I also have been victimized by Option One. Currently foreclosure action is on hold indefinitely after my attorney filed an answer to the summons in the county district court. In the meantime, I decided to elevate my fight to a whole new level by making and releasing my short film, "Predator" to the Internet, which exposes H&R Block and Option One for the bad apples they are. I also included a few victims' stories from this site in the film. Hopefully this will create media interest. If you want to download "Predator" and share it with your friends, relatives, co workers and local media, you are more than welcome to do so. The URL to the film is at http://www.ireport.com/docs/DOC-15905 I am also burning the film to CD to distribute to media outlets as well as our Presidential candidates and anyone else I can think of. Option One has to be STOPPED! My email addy is (((ROR REDACTED))) CLICK here to see why Rip-off Report, as a matter of policy, deleted either a phone number, link or e-mail address from this Report.

Cat, Inspecting 800 properties a year does not make you qualified. No matter what my situation is I have THE RIGHT TO PAY OFF ANY MORTGAGE I CHOOSE! IF THE BANKS HAD DONE THEIR JOB AND HAD NOT MADE SUCH A MESS OF THIS ECONOMY THERE WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN A PROBLEM. MY SITUATION WAS CAUSED BECAUSE OF THE FOLLOWING.I ENCOURAGE YOU TO READ MORE AND DO SOME RESEARCH ON MISSING NOTES TO SEE WHAT THESE BANKS ARE DOING AND WHY THEY ARE NOT RESPONDING TO THEIR CUSTOMERS.I AN NOT TRYING TO START AN ARGUEMENT BUT THERE IS A LOT STUFF THAT IS GOING ON BEHIND CLOSED DOORS.IF YOU WILL SEND ME YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS I WILL SEND YOU SOME INFO THAT OUR LOCAL ATTORNEYS AND MYSELF HAVE FOUND. 1. One of the banks stop sending statements 2.One of the mortgage companies went out of business in Feb 3.Several of my customers were at the closing and could not close because THE BANKS CHANGED THEIR PROGRAMS OR CLOSED DOWN. 4. SEVERAL BANKS WOULD NOT GIVE ME PAYOFFS OR INFO 5. One companies fax and phone would just ring and ring. P.S. ON SEVERAL OF THESE LOANS THEY WERE TAKEN OVER BY SUBJECT TO AND IF YOU REMEMBER, I HAD THE CASH TO PAY THEM OFF.BUT AGAIN HOW DO YOU PAY THEM OFF IF YOU CAN'T GET A PAYOFF.

I visually inpsect at the minimum of 800 plus houses a month. I have seen it all. So yes I do know exactly what I am talking about. However, had you owned a fewer houses and paid cash then you would be in a different situation. It is possible to do if you have owned that many then you know that you are putting yourself in a mess to have that much debit. I would like to see you keep your home, not lose it. Cat

I could an did afford my home until they sent me false mortgage statements. Don't assume that everybody that is in dept with these mortgage companies can't afford their homes. The high fees an unwillingness to actually work with their customers is whats causing this mess. Plus, in my situation it has been false documentation from the company itself. In over my head. I will be in over my head if I am forced to live in a small $600 apartment. Lose all my pets. An my family. My Mom & Brother live here as well. Justice is all these people seek. All I seek before these huge mortgage companies take me under. Because they have the power to do so. Please don't assume.

I have bought and sold well over a 100 properties and have taught many seminars in real eatate investing. I have brought many proerties with cash and have been very sucessful. The problem is when property values sink and the buyers are unable to obtain loans or when you think that you are going to close on a loan with a buyer and the banks shut their doors literally the day of closing or a few days prior.I had 3 closings in a 5 month span where they closed and but no money was sent. I had 13 closings where we were unable to obtain payoffs. 4 of them, my own realestate attorney could not get payoffs because the banks CLOSED THEIR DOORS. No offense, but but I REALLY DON'T THINK YOU UNDERSTAND HOW BAD THINGS ARE WITH THESE BANKS. REGINA

what you could afford you wouldnt be in this mess. It is better to have 2 paid off properties than 5 or 6 invested and in this mess. I can't tell you how many people I see like you that are in over your head. A good tip if you ever get out of this mess. USE CASH next time. It works great! Start slow and work up until you have several PAID FOR PROPERTIES. I inspect over 800 properties a month that are behind because they "bought" by people who did not use cash or a great amt of cash. It is sad because I am sure you had good intentions but in the end it's the paid for houses that are not going into forcolousure. And no I'm not rich, far from it, I've learned by watching others and by not having credit card debit and no car payment. Good luck. Cat
