sears rip off on their refrigerators and their service needs improvment rip off deceptive company el paso Texas
we bought a frige because it was suppose to be the best on the market, a week later the frige stops working because of a sensor that sears knows about but they dont seem to care as long as they keep selling these products. and as for their customer service, that also needs improment. they dont seem to care that i will be with out a frige for a week until either the part comes in or the replacement frige gets here which is on the same day. after all the "IT'S YOUR SEARS, and WE CARE" its all a bunch of bull. the reality is it's just another sale. so dont fall into the same trap

Kenmore is nothing more than a brand name

The Kenmore line was at one time considered to be the best.Welcome to the 21st century. Kenmore brand, nowadays, is manufactured "generally" by Whirlpool corp. but also by General Elecric and Electrolux corp. (Frigidaire). The problem is you have no idea who manufactured it unless your in the business or until you need service. The purpose of Kenmore brand is so that you cannot take an appliances model number and go anywhere else to compare cost. P.S. take Consumer Reports ratings with a "grain of salt". A recent issue gave Whirlpool, Kenmore, and Kitchenaid brand Over the range microwave ovens a #1 rating while they had 1,800,000 piece recall on these units because they posed a fire hazard.
