Went to the store Aug.31 2007. Whantd a REFRIGERADOR as mine was getting a little old, but still worked. I really wanted to find something that was an "energy"saver. So I look around and fine a "Trio botton freezer" with a few dents on it. Asked for a "contract" and the sales girl puts it into the mach. and it was declined? I've had a card with them over 20 years? So I just placed it on the card. It was to be delivered the next day. Next day they called and said the broke something on the icemaker. 2 days later they called to deliver. Get it there, and they hook it up. The book said to let it run 3 hours befor using it. I'm ok with that as I have 5 coolers on the floor with all my food in them. 3 hours go by and still hot inside , call them, oh no wait 24 hours. I wait 24 more hours, still hot. Called the Thompson Lane store and asked for the mang. It's William, what can I do for you. Well I told him about my problem, come back in and pick something else. Well I didn't want anything else, I wanted what I paid for. Well, we'll send a service call out. When? I'll be the next day. Wrong try 2 days more. At 6;35 p.m. he's here! Works on it a while and maked a call to the service dept. an his blackberry. The service guy walks the tech thorugh it, and I can hear everything they say. Well it's got to be the compresser and the condenser too! Lol! Do you want to keep it sir? No, I need it replaced with a new one. Tells me his sup. will call the next a.m. no calls came all day called the store for William to return my call, 30 min. he'll call you back. 40MIN. later, i call back ..he's gone for the day.

My tech. said I had a 90 day warenty, 18004myhome said 30? Tech told me sience all the foods rotten, I should get some money. $300.00.?? I have way over that in there, it now stinks to hi heaven in the house, I found a dumpster to drop it off in. Next day, still no William call. I'm departing work early to tell oh William what I think of the store. His sales girl said "bring er back". Like that's going to fit in my car. I just want them to pick it up, refund my money, and I'm off to HH Greg.

I also got a letter from Sears in the mail why I could'nt get a contract on the Frig. to begain with "age" I called them, why yes your credit's fine! She put you down as a 11 yr. old?

Well it's been a week now, 7 days with no ref. That store and the phone nbr. Sears gives you, is so very lame. NO SERVICE AT ALL.

Growing-up I use to love them, as my folks did, no longer!

I bet when I get there this William, will try to screw me out of my money as well. That's o.k. I've got a lawyer in the family, and this will please him very much. People don't waste your time or money or food on the jerks, Life is too short.

I just don't know why it's even on the floor if it doesn't even work. They lied over and over!!
