Seedtime Publications, LLC Paid for magazine subsciption and never received the magazine, but my check was cashed!! Rock Hill South Carolina
One afternoon in July 2007, I was sitting on my porch watching my children play and was approached by a lovely young lady whom told me a wonderful story about learning job skills to help her along to a better path in life.
I was apprehensive and really did not need a subsciption to any magazine as I do not have that much time to read for pleasure. This very articulate young woman convinced me that I can go ahead and order a magzine and if I decide in the next 3 days that I really don't want it, I can cancel it; but asks that I don't so. She showed me that each magazine was worth a certain amount of points to her and if I cancelled, she would not receive her points which translated into money for her.
She filled out an order form for the magazine, and shows me the phone number to call if I do not receive the magazine in up to 120 days. I did ask why it would take so long and she stated that she and others like her take orders in many neighborhoods and turn them all in at once so processing takes a long time.
Well, November rolled around and no magazine, I got busy with the holidays and now in February 2008, I finally decided to call the number on my order form, I got a recording saying that their business hours were from 1030am to 430pm but could leave a message. I did just that, but obviously never heard back. I tried again the next day, and got a recording stating that the number was disconnected or no longer in service.
This led me to use the internet, there is also an email address on my order form. I decided to Google the company before trying to send an email and you guessed it, Seedtime Publications came up as a company on the web site.
Hindsite is 20/20 and I will never be taken by such a company again!
