I am an unemployed and uninsured senior citizen. Found this perscription advocate, SCBN on the internet.
The sales person said that there was a one time fee to cover administrative costs and that my 2 perscriptions would cost $40.00 for a 3 month supply, not $40.00 per month. I noticed this while reading the fine points and that they also take the money right out of my account every month.
I knew that I had heard the sales person on the phone correctly because I wrote it down 3 times and I asked in everyway imaginable to make sure of the details. Worked for an insurance company in the past and know how they can omit information so I was very careful. (quit the company because of practices just like this.)
Tried to call right away but was told that I had to leave a message and someone would call me by the next day. Asked to speak to a supervisor. Supervisors do not take phone calls, only messages. Yikes! SCAM!
I lose $90.00. A lot of money to me. If you don't block your account it could have been a lot more.
I thought I was being proactive. Should have done some research.
