Service Probe Inc $4995 check-forgery Newman Grove Nebraska
They're Baaack. Those wonderful people who enticed you to mystery shop from such exotic locations as California and Florida are now giving their address in Newman Grove Nebraska. I got the standard letter "We are a Mystery Customer employment firm" etc. There are two other reports on the company that quote the letter in it's entirety.
The first clue that all was not kosher was the contact numbers. They are both located in Ontario, Canada. Good luck those of you who have to pay for international calls! I actually did call one of the numbers and punched in the designated extension (104) and received no answer.
The $4995.00 cashiers check that is supposed to cover your salary plus the purchase of several items is forged. Drawn on the Bank of Newman Grove, the check itself gives a false telephone number. I checked on the computer and found the REAL Bank of Newman Grove. The minute I got the words "cashier's check" out of my mouth, the operator responded with "They're forged." The bank has received several calls from throughout the US asking about the validity of the checks. In short-they aren't valid and neither is the company.
