I ordered a pair of shoes from Shoe Bungalow and I was immediately charged for the item. Two days later Elsie (the owner) emailed me to tell me that shoe was out of stock (even though the internet site let me order it anyway??? hmmm) She offered a similar shoe in my size and I accepted. A full week went by and there was no information regarding my shipment. I emailed and her very slow response stated she would look into it. After reading the claims on this site, I called my credit card company immediately and filed a claim against her charge. I knew she was trying to give me the run around and would never ship my shoes if I didnt put up a fight. I informed her that I disputed her charge and within 3 days she credited my bank account.

Please do not even attempt to order from her - no matter how much you love the shoes. There are plenty of great shoe websites that are far more reputable (zappos.com, shoes.com, jildorshoes.com)

Yes the shoe was damaged. We refunded you promptly. This site is to be used when you are ripped off not upset. You were refunded so you were not ripped off. It happens that the inventory is incorrect at times. Its unfortunate and not something we like to see happen.
