SHOP NBC RIPOFF THIEVES mistreated EDEN PRAIRIE Minnesota
I purchased two jewelry items from SHOP NBC using my credit card. I returned them because the clasps were difficult to use; this was in July, 2002. The received the items and showed they were processing the return on their web site in my account. I contacted them ( call 800 #, press buttons and hold on for an hour) and a rep tells me their new computer system made an error and she will have a supervisor process my return and I will get my credit in 5 days.
Thirty days later no credit, their collelctions dept. call me asking for my "second payment" for the returned goods. I told their person they have the goods and I want my credit.
Sixty days later, I am still waiting. I call, push buttons, hold on for two hours, finally get someone and they tell me that only a supervisor from collections can lift the hold so I can get my credit back. I filed a dispute with my credit card company and they tell me it will take 14 days and they will get back to me.
In the mean time, I am paying for items I don't have and can't get anyone on the phone and keep getting blown off; tonite I held on the phone for 2 hours then they cut me off and when I called back the recoreding said the office was closed.
Federal law is 30 days and vendor must give you a return credit; I need help!!!!!
