ShopNBC - Viscom ripoff Chaska Minnesota
I ordered a V2 Premium Laptop from ShopNBC.com because the seller, a Mr. Peterson looked like he knew all about computers. He said that the laptop was made in Silcon, California but when the box arrived, it stated on the bottom of the box, made in China. There were no books enclosed for information or even a manual. The box looked like it was sent from China and that someone had gone through it.
My grandson knows computers and he set it up, but after a week the screen would remain blank. We took out the battery and then replaced it, that helped. The next week the same thing happened, plus the screen would freeze.
I emailed them and as of this date, have not received any help from Viscom. I finally decided to mail back their V2 Premier laptop back.
I feel that this is a ripoff as this laptop was not made in the USA but China. I am a senior citizen and live on a fixed income and cannot afford to pay for something that doesn't work and is defective.
