Today I found a charge for $10 debited by Shopper discounts and rewards and called my bank because I didn't recall any transaction for this amount and since I do lots of internet shopping was difficult to identify the company that was billing and to my surprise by calling the number in my bank statement it was anounced to me that I was a member and gave me the option to cancel "my membership". I spoke to a customer service representative that explained that I had already cancelled my membership as of today and she will assure me that won't be any further charges. I proceeded to explain that I never signed up or requested a membership and she continued to assure that I had.

I proceeded to call my bank and report the transaction as a fraud and opened a claim, we found that I had been charges a monthly fee of $10 for e-mails of suppossed discount coupons. My bank will only reimburse 2 months of charges and by stopping the last debit I will get back $30 and I'll be out of another $50 and at leat one hour of my time just for buying a $15 perfum back on the end of last year. Apparently when I purchased a perfum through FraganceNet.com and I entered my e-mail address to receive a 10% discount coupon for my next purchase this company shopper discounts started a membership and charged me $10 a month debiting my account without my authorization and/or request.

I do lots of online shopping and always try to be carefull with all of my transaction but this company was sneaky enough to rip me off!
