Josh and Joseph were helping me get a loan for a renovation project in chicago. SIC funds operates as a mortgage broker so they are naturally more expensive than any private/hard money lenders. They just charge you 3 points upfront on your loan and refer you to a private money lender that fits your criteria. I'm totally ok with that as long as they provide some value. I agreed to pay SIC funds 500 dollars for the application process. At this point, no work had been done whatsoever. After paying the fee, they referred me to a private money lender I was already working with. I immediately demanded my money back and Josh said they had "worked so hard for me". The same private money lender they referred me to hadn't charged me a dime and i was way ahead in the pre-approval process than I was with Josh and joseph. You would expect a company to return you the money for a service that they didn't even perform. Instead they were extremely unprofessional and even called me names. Stay away from this company. They will end up charging you more money than any private money lender anyways.

To address Mr. Daniel Moctezuma grievances in a professinal 2018 TEAM oriented fashion: First and foremost we have never nor would we ever call a client or person a name verbally or through cyberspace. The company maintains a postivie and inclusive environment no matter your upbringing, background, race or gender. The company also does not charge 3 points up front as this a fabrication. The company does request a small 1 time processing fee after time and money has been spent on the commericial loan (pre-approval) and the client has agreed to move forward based on the loan terms and structure.  This 1 time processing fee is addressed on the intial call with the investers & builders and sent in the contract they execute with us.

This small 1 time committment has allowed us to work with serious clients that do not end up wasting are time and money to end up with 0 or no funding. With a lot of niche products and the lowest fees and down payment in the market we feel we deilver value for are new and long term clients. With Daniel we had him approved 2 the last 9 months after time and money was spent on his file to have him completely go dark on us and not value are time and money spent to help him. This is exactly why we incorporated a comittment / processing fee in 2012 after we have done are job to gain a client an approval. This simple process has allowed us to grow as a company a little at a time working with like minded peopel that value are hard~hard work and efforts since 2010.

The last e-mail which we sent this client was Oct. 16th at 7:12 pm which there is record:  We thought we had a some good synergy in working to have you approved so we should meet up and find some ways to work together as I think we can do a lot. Then quote "We are not one to burn bridges!" Fast forward to a very busy week with Cubs going late ect and to Friday night when he posted we stole from him to us was shocking. With that said we welcome an opportunty to work with this client again in the future. Are we perfect no but it is 2017 and we feel people should be able to treat one another in a decent fashion. Call us old school but to be able to sit down with someone to air your differences and come up with a solution is still the Chicago Way. We all could be a lot more happy and make a lot more money working together in unison rather than go after one another all the time. Coming from the market crash of 2008 life can be tough enough why make it tougher than it has to be.

All the Best to All!
