My friend James just posted a ripoff report about Travis Bottorf that either works for Sikorsky Aircraft or Pratt and Whitney and I want to confirm one thing for sure. I used to work for a company called Manpower and Sikorsky used their service for a banquet that Manpower used me for. During the time the banquet was going on, I was asked to bring a glass rack out to the van. On the way I heard a noise that increasingly got louder until I couldn't handle anymore. It was an F16. I was not warned and there was no signs as I left the building warning me of any aircraft that would be taking off. I immediately went to my supervisor and reported this because it was very painful and it made my ears ring for 2weeks. I had to go to a workmans comp doctor and get my hearing checked. The doctor told me I have bad hearing and the test proved it. I then called a lawyer and it took weeks to find a Lawyer because most lawyers were afraid to take on Sikorsky because of their connection with the United States Government. Every Lawer told me they feared having their practice shutdown or Debarred. I finally found a lawyer to fight this. He also told me what the otherstold me but he was wwilling to try. He tried to get ahold of my results of a prior hearing test that I took while entering the Navy and got no cooperation whatsoever. They would not release my information to him at all. So the case never went to court. The Lawyer told me he was afraid this would happen and that he could no longer represent me. So as far as Travis Bottorf wanting revenge I do believe it because Sikorsky has corruption just like our Government.

Sikorsky is located at Pratt and Whitney

Sikorsky and Pratt & Whitney share the same address so anything is possible. You obviously have knowledge of the power that aircraft can project with sound but you can't tell any human being that it didn't hurt them or that it didn't cause any long term damage. Your not that person nor are you an ear nose and throat doctor.

My point of the story was that they are corrupt

My whole point was the fact that Sikorsky is corrupt. My Lawyer is the one who told me that they kept the Navy from giving information out on my past hearing test so I could not win a lawsuit against them.

Assuming just made you an a**. Never said it flew by me. The engines were started when I was loading the van. I never saw the plane. I was told by personel that it was an f16 a******. I was working for a temp agency and was doing my job as a banquet assistant and should have been warned about this before going outside. I was also not the only one injured that day. The other persons nsme was Benny. Barry and Helen wete the assigning supervisors when I was sent there to do my job.

Your claim has issues...

There is one big issue with your claim that Sikorsky caused your hearing issues when an F-16 flew by you.

Sikorsky makes Heliocopters, the F-16 is produced by Lockheed Martin(General Dynamics).

Next, Jet's don't just randomly take off anywhere they want.  They need very long streatches of paved road(AKA Runways).  Now, unless you know otherwise, you can only find runways at airports.  So if you are at an airport and know you are near a runway.  One would think that you should be smart enough to realize that "Umm..there might be jets taking off around here".

So exactly how close did this plane get to you.  As the max decibles of an F-16 taking off is about 200db within 50 feet of the engine, and even then the short one time exposure time would not cause long term damage to your hearing.

So please tell us again why Sikorsky would be at fault for your hearing issues from an F-16?
