The unfortunate 6 month saga of my unreturned product has been resolved.
The good that Single Momz Magazine has done was never in question. This has nothing to do with numberous unanswered e-mails and a fax. What does not being a big company have to do with having a "slow process?" How long should it take to return a hand painted Candle Holder?
I simply wanted my merchandise returned within a resonable amount of time and thanks to The Rip Off Report this has been successfully accomplished.
Thank you Ripp off Report!
Sincerely,
Hilary Sylvester

Dear Corey,
In response to your unnecessary blasting of my
magazine, for which I have hundreds of satisfied
customers, I have no reason to request samples of
products just for freebies sake and I am totally
offended by your slander and lack of respect for the fact that the magazine is not as big as a publication with 400 employees, therefore having a slower process.
I went to the post office and had to resend the candle in which I was given a date of yesterday as when you should have been in receipt of it. Again, I have no use for a candle such as the one offered by Baruch Designs in which to keep it. There are plenty of stores in the New York area in which I can purchase a candle -- that is more economical at that.
Please be advised that the delivery confirmation number for the package is 0300 1290 0003 9920 5951. Please refrain from defaming my magazine. SingleMomz no longer has any ties with Baruch Designs.
I spoke with Hilary and she said she'd follow up by the end of the week if she hadn't been in receipt. In fact, I just e-mailed her yesterday to confirm when candle arrival should have taken place.
Please do not e-mail SingleMomz anymore. Remove us from your mailer as we will do the same. We no longer want to do business with a company who chooses to bad mouth a company that's doing a incredible service to the single mother community -- and we've got hundreds of testimonies to prove it, as well as from the public relations community. We may not move as fast as a major corporation, but we get the job done just the same.
Cease trying to strong arm us with your negative publicity tactics. You should have your candle and our business dealings should be done.
Thank you,
Feona S. Huff

Hilary,
Isn't this a sneaky way to get freebies? I've heard of this type of gimmick before. I'm not saying the periodical doesn't exist. I am saying that it's a slick way to get free product.
Time to take Feona to court. File in your local small claims court, she won't show up and you will get a judgment by default.
Good Luck
