Sisu Saunas ripoff, stole 5k took to court and won, got nothing con artist now has lein against home etc Britt Minnesota
My father bought a $5,000 dollar barrel sauna from this guy, George Rule of Sisu Saunas. After about a year of owning it, we were going to move several hundred miles up north, so George Rule offered to store the sauna for free until we were ready to have it placed up north.
Turns our Mr. Rule actually sells the sauna to someone else! He then played a con game and kept promising he would make us a new one, but it never paned out. So my father took him to court and won. Even though we won, everything is setup against the consumer apparently, because my father still hasn't collected a dime from this guy. Complete con artist... He just emptied the bank account that they asked him for, duh. Now he has a lean on his house and some other stuff, like screwed credit.
Anyways his website is still up and running, which is really scary. Its been around 5 years now probably, not a dime in return. 5k gone. Go elsewhere for a sauna!

Little more info.. We were living in Pine City, Minnesota at the time. We were planning on moving to Ely, Mn. and building there. I think what happened is that we needed it moved so we contacted him. He said he would store it for us until we were ready to move and then I think he was going to move it up there for us. Turns out he offered to build us a brand new suana if he could sell ours to someone who wanted one right away, so my father agreed. So he sold our sauna but we never got the promised new one in return... Anyways I don't feel like interogating my dad about all the details. I've spoke the truth from what I know. It was a nice sauna while we had it... Too bad the guy is a crook. I'm surprised he can still function as a business considering he must be broke.

So when you decided to move, your father contacted Sisu and asked how to move it? Did George then say "you can bring it here and leave it?" How long was it there? Did Sisu pick it up from your fathers home? I am curious how George got involved after the 1 year of ownership. Britt, MN is way north of Virginia, MN, yet your address is Sauk which is as you know, over 4 hours from Britt. Was your father moving from central MN to up by Britt, thus he hauled the sauna up there and left it at Sisu in Britt??? I am just curious for more facts, thats all. Thank you
