After an interview with GM: J. Hernandez and all of his demand of high expectations he and his company decided NOT to pay myself as well as several other contractors for the work we've already completed! This is blatant fraud and lack of integrity from the CEO to the janitor. I might add that WorkMarket, the app that provides the connection between tech and Skinny IT / IST.. claims that they have NO contract with Skinny IT / IST but somehow they're informing everyone that they are escalating the non payment claims. After investigating their position, I learned that there is NO escalation process in place. And the reason being is that WorkMarket is neutral and does not represent either party!

But they're clearly willing to take a cut of the pay for all work assigned through their app. This company has refused to pay in the sum of several thousands of dollars for work that has already been approved and completed. THIS IS CLEARLY A SCAM AND THE EVIDENCE OF A FRAUDULENT CORPORATION!!! BOTH WORKMARKET AND SKINNY IT / IST ARE both BEHAVING LIME SCAMMERS FRAUD!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH EITHER. THEY UPHOLD NO INTEGRITY AND WILL PUT YOU IN A CRUNCH FINANCIALLY WITHOUT NOTICE. LATE PAYMENTS, LIES OF ESCALATIONS PLEASE THERE'S ENOUGH GOING ON IN OUR COUNTRY ALREADY WE DONT NEED FRAUDS SCREWING UP PEOPLE'S LIVES. THANKS RIPOFFREPORT

My company provided on site service with identifier 9270844-12428623 • 7122648561 Service Call - Troubleshoot Display Kiosk - Digital Signage via WorkMarket for the humble reimbursement of $93.46 after WM fees (they probably owe $100) on 6/4/2018. Ticket approval took 45 days which on it's own is a extreme delay and only happened afte multiple calls on my end. Payment was expected 8/1/2018.

As of 10/15/18 I have not seen a dime. WorkMarket opened case and claims it has disabled both IST and Skinny IT's accounts. Latest update is that is transfered to a collection agency.

I have personally sent and email to Sam Darwish, the so called owner, with whom I had some work done years ago (when I guess he wasn't a milionare). I asked him politely to pay his dues and included request for read receipt whcih he returned (proof that hea opened the email). 1 month later still nothing.

Any potential clients of this companies - STAY AWAY! If you haven't been scammed yet, you are next.

The claim is not unwarranted

There are a more than a few sources that can confirm everything in this claim, though I am unable to directly. However, I will tell you a story and then you can decide if the claim is true or not. The things I am about to say based on actual employment are true. Ever since IST was bought out in January, things have progressively slid downhill from the inside out as we watched a man who had no idea how to run the company he bought, completely destroy it. I seriously do not understand why the previous owner sold the company. Look where it got all of us. The man who now owns this company couldn’t manage his way out a paper bag, much less take over a company that was running perfectly fine for over 30 years without him. on top of everything he kept making promises he couldn’t keep to his employees including company gas cards, better service and the promise of being home more. It was all lies. Instead, we employees were forced to pay all expenses out of pocket, and average of sometimes more than $300 a week and most of us barely make rent without that extra burden.

We were also expected to pay for our own hotels most of the time because proper accommodations were swiftly being denied despite prominent labor laws for traveling employees. It was either that or be forced to drive home after working sometimes 12+ hours 4 or more hours away from home.Underpaid and under appreciated by upper management. To make matters even worse, the guy had the nerve to recycle work market contracts by creating work market accounts in our name for the company, taking the pay, sending us out in their place which is a total violation of work market TOS, and get the primary profit for the contract and paying us less with our lower hourly wages. We got treated like garbage even in the beginning of the year right after the buyout. working 19+ hour days while being told we’re not allowed to leave and no one will help us. In literally 9 months after buy IST, the dude dismantled everything. I can confirm they had no intentions of paying anyone. In fact, 95% of the work force was let go without pay and the accounting department was directly instructed by the owner not to pay anyone, including former employees. So yes, this claim is completely understandable. In the beginning of the year during the transition, there was a massive layoff with his name on it, and no one got paid any expenses or payroll for weeks past their due date.

Gtfoh!!! Even Skinny IT employees can't get a technician to go onsite and work for them anymore. And can you explain why knowing the name of the person who submitted this report is more important than making sure that they're able to provide for their family by paying them on-time??? You are obviously a major part of the problem here... you are also a big liar!!! People are not filing reports against your company because youre doi g such a wpnderful job!!! And when there's (evidence) of your companies fraudulent conduct what can you say about that? Pay Up or go out of business!!! But you will still pay either way. God will not allow you to get away with taking advantage of people you so eagerly needed before you owed them money!!! This is America! Sam Mark Hernandez You 3 are under the microscope

In response to the posting on July 17th by a Richard Nissan: Skinny IT is committed to maintaining positive relationships with contracted professionals. The author of this post used a fictitious name and did not provide any information that would allow us to verify his complaint or follow-up with him. We would never let a contractor go unpaid, but there is simply no record of a Mr. Richard Nissan.
