ISSUE #1: Upon receipt of a Sleepy's $2000 mattress 2.5 years ago, there was an EXTREME chemical smell eminating from the mattress. Was told by Sleepy's that once it left their warehouse, they were no longer responsible and they would not help us. (subsequent conversations with their customer service people have contradicted this first claim by them.) At the time, I was pregnant and certainly was not going to sleep on anything that smelled so horribly AND would actually make your clothing smell if you came in contact with the bed. We slept in a guest room for several weeks. FOR $2000, I SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SLEEP ON THE BED!

ISSUE #2: About 6 months later, we realized there were extreme body impressions in the bed (that have continued to deteriorate over time). After having my baby by c-section, I was unable to get out of the bed unassisted due to the concave in the mattress. For the past couple of years I have suffered with back, hip, and shoulder pain from sleeping in the "hammock" position. I also wake up with my arms asleep (pins & needles) from this "hammock".

ISSUE #3: Sleepy's customer service is absolutely horrible. I have contacted them several times over the past couple of years. Most conversations are unbelivably frustrating. The personnel are horribly rude and I receive flippant answers to most of my questions... For example, when asking to speak with a manager, one employee responded "I am the manager". When pressed and asked who she worked for, her response was "Sleepys" (knowing full well I wanted to speak with her supervisor).

There have been 3 or 4 individuals out to measure the concave in the bed, but the measuring techniques are inconsistent. The last measurement actually had the bed improving over time (which is certainly not the case.)

Any ideas on how to get this resolved? I'm exhausted!
