Reviewing the rip-off report I filed addressing my personal experience, I found erronious accusations were also included from text-boxes in the "Rip-off report" form. To correct this, I offer these additional Comments to clearify my complaint about services provided by Smiles Coffee.
Having never been an employee of this company, I have no knowlege of how they treat their employees, their insurance, nor would I call them "names".
My feelings about the conduct of Smiles Coffee was not clear in the report, and included complaints about this company that did not pertain to my situation.
I feel Smiles Coffee's shipping policy and disregard for the schedule I set (for frequency of shipments) was intended to make me feel I "should" accept orders I did not want. They do not accept cancellations at the website where I initiated the service, and they provided misinformation that made it impossible to cancel my subscription in a timely manner.
Their "no further obligation" introductory offer amounts to high pressure tactics (by customer service reps) and misuse of credit card information that enabled them to charge #32.94 for that unscheduled rush shipment, after I attempted to cancel the subscription at their website.
At best, this account has been closed, and I do not expect any more shipments of coffee.
