SONY COMPUTER COMPANY SONY FRAUDULENT AND ILLEGAL AND IMMORAL BUSINESS PRACTICES LAKE ELSINORE , California
After only 14 months. I started having problem with a $1500.00 lap top, Vio. The track pad, and the curser started to malfaunction. Whe I was writitng a letter , the curser would jump and send the letter , or jump back and mix up other sentences.
I called Sony company. They said, sorry , for this model we cannot do anything. It is out of warranty, and there is no way to solve that problem. No there is not possible to replace the tracking pad. Throw it away.
I did. Then I went on Walmart.com , thinking that they have 30 days return policy I foolishly ordered another vio computer . ( right now I have the same problem typing this ). The problem started again. The same problem. I called Sony, and they told me to do this and that, and fixed the problem for couple of days. On 17th days , when the problem kept happening again and again, I went back to Walmart. They said sorry, after 15 days. You must contact the manufacturer. I asked them why don't I see anywhere in this store or by the electronic department a sign say anything about your policy changes. They were as usual a bunch of no nothing , low paid, illiterate staff.
The problem kept going. Today 5 days before the first month from te purchase date , I called Sony company. They had the gull to tell me that " their policy " does not allow any replacement or refund . I told them who wrote that policy " Arsen Lopen " Or Ali Baba and his forty theives.
conclusion: Sony sells defective products. i.e. Vio lap tops, and then says we fix it. Their fixing never works. You end up with a defective lap top, and they already took your money.
I hope the president of the Sony corporation, all its staff, and shareholders go to hell, and know that by stealing money from hard working people. Their biusiness is doomed. Shame on you . Even Al Capcopn had more decency that Sony people. There is no shame, decency nothing left for these corporations . I hope all of them go to hell.

Well, if you're stuck with the wretched thing you could try a wireless mouse. The tiny receiver plugs into a USB port. Switch off the track pad on the computer. In any case I find those trackpads miserable. The wireless mouse costs about $20 or so.
