South Bay Expressway They SCAM people by charging them for tolls on roads in a city they have never been to. San Diego CA - California
My son received a charge for a toll road that is 190 miles from our home in a city he has never been to while he was at work with his car parked. You are automatically found guilty and threatened with having your car registration withheld. This has to be a SCAM. They do not send any evidence with a picture to prove their point. Instead you have to fight to get the proof that does not exist. I believe they are reporting random license numbers so they can see if you are sucker enough to pay, and if you do pay, they will continue to give you fines. I am reading all over where people are getting scammed. This is fraud. Now he has to spend his time fighting a charge that he did not commit and could end up having to spend more money on gas to fight than the cost of the $43 fine. They probably find people who live far away on purpose because they know that it is not worth it to fight it and pay the fine.
