Southwest Airline / booking.com After booking a flight, I followed a link to book a hotel. The link took me booking dot com where they promptly ripped me off for $495 Unknown Internet
I followed the https link to booking dot com from the southwest airline web. Before receving a hotel confirmation American Express notified me of the charge from Rocket Travel. I never got a confirmation. Hours on the phone with SWA and Booking dot com. Neither could confirm my reservation. Neither could tell me about Rocket Travel. Had to have AE kill it.
Be careful following links on the SWA site. Avoid Booking dot com. Both the booking dot com and swa were https sites. This therefore could not have been a man-in-the- middle. One of these sites is insecure for financial transactions.
