Another thing, the person that recommended Clarke above, 'Babs', is actually his sister! Ha!
For people that are thinking about buying from Spinnaker, Coral, Etc., please save yourselves some heartache. Stay away from these people. Nothing good can come from getting involved in something like this.
If you really want a timeshare, go on Ebay or Craigslist.

Amazingly after doing some homework on "Bill33" I have come to the
conclusion that this disgruntled sales executive was actually let go
from Coral Resorts for POOR SALES PERFORMANCE and for also LYING and
DECEITFUL PRACTICE towards clients/owners of Coral Resorts!
I found this out because I was a client of "Bill33" and as I tried to
contact him multiple times with no reply, I decided to contact Coral
Resorts and that is when they told me that he was let go for the reasons
mentioned above!
As for Clarke Tefft, I have never met the man while I was there but I am
sure that he is a pretty clever sales executive like all of them are
but we need to realize as consumers that it is our responsibility to
step up to the plate and do our own homework!
If there is anyone one to be angry at, it should be at ourselves and not
the sales executives! If anyone has the right to be upset, it would be
me for the deceitfulness that "Bill33" displayed, but instead, I will
just mark it up as a lesson learned...
And trust me, these companies WILL NOT REFUND YOUR MONEY and nor should
they have too... Yet just ANOTHER lie told by my "trusty sales
executive, Bill33"
I also can speak on have personal transactions with Resort Solutions as well and although they were not able to get as much money for me as I was told, they did in fact sell my weeks for me!
So that led me to do a little more homework on my sales executive "Bill33" and I was told by two separate sales people that work for Resort Solutions that this executive was receiving kick backs from them for each client that they referred to them!
Man oh man, it seems to me like a disgruntled sales executive in the timeshare industry is more dangerous then a sales executive that is still employed by their company....
Hey "Bill33", are you sure that you should be casting so many stones? If so, then first pay me back for all the money you stole from me out of your own pocket!

Also, as an owner, I can in fact touch on Resort Solutions as well.... The company is real and I have had personal transactions with them! Although they told me that I could get more for my resale then what I actually received, they DID IN FACT GET IT SOLD FOR ME!
So that actually encouraged me to do more research on my sales executive "Bill33" and come to find out, I was told by 2 different sales people for Resort Solutions (Ed and Tim) that my sales executive "Bill33" was in fact receiving a kick back from every client that he sent to Resort Solutions!! Once they cut him off from receiving these kick backs, he had nothing else encouraging to say about this company!
Wow, it appears to me that disgruntled sales executives are much worse to deal with then those that are in good standing with their companies!

I worked with Clarke at Coral Resorts before he left to go to Spinnaker. All of these guys bounce back and forth between Coral and Spinnaker.
The other player in town, Marriott, won't have any of them because they are all crooks.
I worked for Clarke for about a year. He is one of the most dishonest people I have ever met. He will talk about his faith, his dad being a senator, him being a bodybuilder. But what he won't tell you is that his blank stares at you and slow speech pattern are just a cover as completely wrecks the financial future of the family he is sitting across from.
His resale pitch is legendary. He will tell you that he can get crazy inflated numbers for your old timeshare week. He will then hand you his cell phone to call the 'resale' guy. This used to be a company called Resort Solutions. What he is not telling you, is that the guy you are talking to is typically just another Coral or Spinnaker manager in another part of the building.
Or, he will tell you that he will buy your old week from you on the spot. So suddenly, that 24,000 week is now only 11,900. Well guess what, it was always just 11,900.
But, the rep made it look so great because it's Hilton Head and trading power. Bologna!
Stay far away from these people. A movie should be written about what life is like behind the scenes in a timeshare office. Some of the things these people did to vulnerable and unsuspecting people is downright cruel.
If you have already been taken by these people, I am so sorry. If you got here by googleing Clarke or Spinnaker after purchasing, cancel via certified mail ASAP!

I have had nothing but positive interactions with Clarke Tefft and Spinnaker Resorts. I am happy with their product and love my time on Hilton Head Island. Anytime you buy anything and sign your name on paperwork you should read every word on the documents and even have an attorney read them and answer any questions you may have. This story sounds more like you trying to get out of your contract than any wrong doing by Spinnaker Resorts or their sales person. I would recommend Spinnaker Resorts to anyone who can afford and is interested in timeshares on Hilton Head Island. And ask for Clarke Tefft; he's very knowledgeable of their products and a good guy to get to know.
