The information provided in this report below is based on comments made by Don Edwards during an onsite inspection held by a third party verification company with no biases towards SplashPadsUSA.

Splash Pads USA builds splash pads nationwide for both residential and commercial properties. A splash pad is an interactive surfaces that propels water. Don Edwards stated the following about his company, "we are a turnkey service with people that have a HOAs, apartment complexes, RV parks, day cares, etc. We install and manufacture all of our own products. We service all throughout the United States of America."

Leads for Splash Pads USA are primarily obtain through referrals from satisfied customers, as well as their high SEO ranking. Once a potential customer has expressed interest in Splash Pads USA, "we provide them with a rendering service. We then give them a price on the product and if they agree with the price we go from there."



CUSTOMER CARE & COMPLAINT RESOLUTION – SPLASHPADSUSA

During the onsite interview Mr. Edwards was asked to describe a situation where a client was not satisfied with the level of service they received. He expressed that his company rarely experiences complaints due to their high level of customer service and product quality, "it is very uncommon to get any complaints on faulty workmanship because our products are wonderful." However he did express that occasionally clients will call because the product installment is late. When an issue like this arises, "we will give them money off or give them something for free. Give them extra coatings on the splash pad. Something within reason so people are satisfied."

When asked to comment on complaints posted on Ripoff Report's website Mr. Edwards expressed that one of the comments claims that Splash Pads USA black mails, steals, commits fraud, and does not pay employees, "we have never had any complaints nor have we committed extortion or blackmail. It does not make any sense on how this can happen in the company business of selling splash pads." Mr. Edwards stated the following about the additional complaints, "the second complaint is a true complaint from somebody that we borrowed a piece of equipment from, a competitor, to try to better the materials. The contact stated that we were a week late and spoke to the competitor, who bad raps us all the time anyway, we believe that the competitor is the one who filed one of these complaints because we do not know who they are. The third complaint this a name that we have never heard of and we have never done a job in South Jordan, Utah. We don't know who that is what we would consider that a plant also." To further assure future and current clients Splash Pads USA is accredited and has an A rating with the Better Business Bureau. Additionally they, "have several five-star reviews on this site. We have a factory and location that can be visited at any time. We have many reviews from past customers."

When asked what type of changes they have made to honor their commitment to make things right with the consumer per the request of Ripoff Report, Mr. Edwards stated, "we've become a member of your consumer advocacy program. We would now be able to address any problems quickly. We have not received any emails or telephone calls about any problems on our end."

Ripoff Report would like to let readers know that Ripoff Report emailed this customer so the member business could make things right with them. When a business joins the Corporate Advocacy Program, Ripoff Report emails everyone from the past so the member business can make things right with them. Of course, everything within reason. STATEMENT FROM SPLASHPADSUSA:


We did a job for this customer and he was always very pleased with our work. In fact, we did two splash pads for this customer! We also did a water feature for this customer and he actually still owes us on this particular project. As for the above ground feature referenced, we did remove the bucket feature and take it to our shop to see if we could improve on the design. We actually brought the product back to this customer's splash pad the VERY day that this was posted and the customer said (with witnesses) that he was absolutely pleased! This customer references Rain Deck, our competitor, in this post and states that we owed them money which is patently FALSE. We stopped using Rain Deck as a vendor due to the poor turnaround time and poor quality.

Don Edwards and Splash Pads USA are without a doubt among the most unethical and dishonest people you will ever come across. not only will they promise the world and deliver heaping pile of gabage about 6 months later, but they will flat out steal from you. After contracting a residential splash pad with Don and USA Splash Pads we began to see the shotty work, unprofessional conduct and disregard for keeping a schedule. They will begin the work and tear up the property in order to lock you in and then take weeks at a time off.


In additoin, Splash Pads USA appears to be leaving such a trail of bodies in thier wake that no suppliers will do business with them. The crowning achivement of Mr. Edwards and Splash Pads USA came a few months after the project ended. Mr. edwards came back to our property and asked someone staying there if he could borrow some of the water feature attachments in order to show them off to another client. That person reluctantly agreed with the promise that the part would be rerurned the next day. 3 months later the parts are gone, the splash pad has been rendured inopperable and no one will return our calls. Eventually we even started going by thier office to confront them and get the parts returned. No luck, they have the doors locked at all times with a sign that says by appointment only. 


Our final course of action will be criminal theft charges and a conversion of property action in the civil court system. 


After doing a little research of our own we have discovered that thier main supplier of parts, Rain deck, has stopped doing business with the company because they refuse to pay thier bills. Feel free to call them and confirm at 888-445-rain. We are also aware of at least one other office building that they rented that has evicted them for non-payment. My company, Cloward H2O, has done design work for Splashpads USA.  While they paid their bills early on, they stopped paying last summer.  Calls and e-mails get ignored.  When I call from an unknown number, Don answers the phone, promises he'll be right down in a few days with a check, and then never shows up.  This has happened 3 times.  He owes my company $10,115.16.  He also needs to return the custom nozzle I allowed him to borrow and copy the design from.  Don, it's well past time to pay your bills.  Come see me with a cashier's check in hand.

my name is Earl and I have been doing business with Don Edmunds and Splash Pads USA, they have paid their bills and they have pushed very hard to deliver their products, I know because I have been on the recieving end of Dons enthusiasm to perform for his customers. Don has been very concerned about quality and is concientious about making sure that the job is done right when he picks up his parts for delivery. As for his employees, I have not seen any unhappy employees and I work with them on a regular basis as we deliver our products we provide for Splash Pads. I dont know anything about the complaints filed in the other report, but I have had a positive experience working with Don Edmunds and his crew. Thank you Don for all you do for us.
