The final email in the chain, after about 5 emails, summarizes the fraud:
"The accredited solicitor does not work on contingencies, they require a 50% deposit as retainer before they can commence work on your brief. Moreover, without the closing legal process we cannot fund."
So to received $3M in cash investment, we were first supposed to send some fee for the 'accredited solictor' to draft legal documents.
