Case Description:
Been trying since October to have Warranty work done. Response and follow through with this company has been a nightmare.

Kevin (in sales) came to my home in January of 2015 to have hard wood floors installed. Job was done subpar, and reached almost weekly with Kevin until he stopped responding and left the company. Our floors were two different colors and we kept being told it would "color up".

Finally got ahold of someone the next June (Zac) and he had corporate come and look at the job. They agreed it needed to be sanded and redone. It was done again by StarFloors in Oct. Contractors broke 2 picture frames, put a dent in the fridge and wall moving it around. I reached out to Zac who said a manager would be calling back. Not only did they never call back, but after a few weeks again my calls went unanswered.

Our floors are peeling, scratches all over, worst job I have ever seen. Got ahold of Diana at the corporate office in March, who has not done a good job of following up either. Once I got ahold of her and sent in pictures, they said they were unable to tell by the pics and would send Joe out to Colorado to determine what warranty work would need to happen and when it would need to happen. March 29th they told me Joe would be contacting me.

Manny came out in mid May - agreed that the sand and refinish job was terrible and said they would be contacting me for a date. We tentatively set it for July while we were on vacation as it is awfully inconvenient to have to stay off the floors for yet again another week.

After promising in mid June to have the work done while we were gone in July- again I emailed asking what the plan was. Diana returned an email in July saying they didn't have time and would authorize another company to have the work done and they would pay for it. She told me any reasonable bid would be accepted and we could schedule the work.

I had 3 bids done, took the lowest of the bids and submitted it to Diana on August 4th. Aug 15th I yet again reached out as she had not followed through. Her response was awaiting approval and would reach out the 16th. I emailed again today asking for the update to which she responded it was not approved and is going back to a different manager.

We have had enough. We would like the $6,500 to be mailed to us in check form to have another company to the work. We have consistently followed up with Star Floors, and after 2 attempts at finishing them, and terrible terrible terrible communication - I think we should be able to go with a reputable company to get them refinished yet again.
