State Farm Insurance renegged on an offer for medical payments in accident 300 Ripoff Kimball Drive New Jersey
My son was in an accident that left him in a coma. We had just moved to New Jersey, but we reported the accident to our agent reported the claim in Ohio. Ohio sent the claim to New Jersey.
We had to make all of the contacts to the office in New Jersey. Our son was in a coma, so this made it extremely difficult (so much for "good neighbor" service, HAH! The adjustor finally made in offer of $5,000 under our auto policy qualifying him as a pedestrian based on policy language even though he was on a bicycle.
We felt he may have been a victim of a hit and run accident and wanted them to investigate the accident on that basis. The adjustor decided to deny the claim with stating they had completed their investigation. To this day we do not know why the claim was denied and at the very least paid as a first party claim for the $5,000 if not as a hit and run.
State Farm is a rip-off who because they have old money behind them, they feel they can pick and choose only their friends and family to take care of in claims and the rest of us they care less than zero about. My money was green when I paid my premiums and you never said I had to be related to you to be covered!
