My name is Michael Lowell and I am the owner of Stateway Auto Transport. We have been in business since 1992 and in that time have earned a shining reputation for being honest, reliable and cost efficient. Stateway has amazing positive feedback on many review sites and we have a 5 star rating on TransportReviews.com (the nations largest transportation review site) out of 350+ customer reviews in the last 2 years alone.
Unfortunately, this does not make us invulnerable. We had a serious glitch with our main operating software. All aspects of our business were effected by this unexpected failure. Many technical dificulties and logistical problems resulted for us and some of our customers. Trucks were dispatched out with the wrong loads, deposits were refunded, charged then refunded again and wrong information emails were sent out. I want to make t clear that we estimate that the glitch effected less
than 3% of our entire customer base. We have always done our best to service every customer with the highest level of support and assistance and these cases were not any different. We have compensated the effected customers and refunded the cancellations as soon as they were brought to our attention.
Since then, Stateway has been operating through a completely new and updated software program. All technical issues, as far as we can see after running multiple tests, are resolved. I wish that these events would have never occurred but there is nothing we can do now except our best to make sure nothing like this EVER happens again. I have hosted numerous meetings with our management and sales staff in regards to these complaints and we have done workshops on how to prevent problems such as these from occurring in the future.
